For years now the war between the two world leaders in operating systems for mobile, with numerous battles won by both sides. On the one hand Apple, with its operating system: iOS. On the other hand Android, with its countless mutations. iOS was born on June 29, 2007, tested on the new iPhone; later it will be published also on iPad and iPod touch. You can read the full story here. iOS was born as a closed operating system, not open to all, you could define it as "reserved". This means that it can not be played on other devices, which are not Apple.
Android instead was born for smartphones and tablets, the product was presented on September 23, 2008 in New York, while the date of release in the market was October 22, 2008. You can read the full story here. It is a more versatile and open system than iOS, and in fact it is the world leader, with over 63% of users using it, followed by its rival iOS, which holds 34%.
